Hello Andrea, I am also researching a Felix Monette. While researching my 3X
+grandparents Louis Monette and Elmire Binet, I found a Louis (b.1867) in the 1881 census living in Hawkesbury West with Felix Monette and his then wife Domithilde Franche. Felix and Domithilde married in 1875 so I don't think she was my ancestors mother, but Felix was married once before to a Scholastique Guillot. The second marriage was in L'Orignal and I was trying to find where Felix married Scholastique. Is this by any chance the same Felix you are researching?
