Hello, as you can see my name is Daniel Monett. I have a slight problem... I know next to nothing about my family background. Now, normally, I wouldn't care so much, but it's just that there is so little that anyone knows. So, this is out there to anyone who might be able to fill me in about my family's past.
I am Daniel James Monett. Last of three. Son of Ricky Allen Monett. Ricky is first of four. Son of Dan Monett. All I know from there is that Dan has two brothers, John and Red (which may or may not be a nickname.). The only other piece of history I have, which is almost legend in my family, is that either Dan's father or grandfather used to live, and operate a store, in Missouri. Then, in the dead of the night, without explination, he packed up his family, some goods from his store, and left to Colorado. Which is where my family has been since.
As you can see, this makes things difficult to find out about. All the secrecy. What makes things worse is that the only man who could possibly help me (my grandfather, Dan) passed away several years back. So, I ask, no, implore, anyone who might know anything about this side of the Monett's to please help me out. I must know where my family came from and what its background is.
