Sharon,
Do not know yet.Henry Monesmith was in Dekalb
Co,In in 1850 and 1860 I was told he then went to Putman Co,Oh.Another Henry and his wife Anna Beltz were in Dekalb Co,In from Crawford Co,Oh.They are burried in Butler Cemetery Butler,In I have their obit's.
My Elizabeth Moniesmith,Monasmith etc..[grin]
was married in Cumberland Co,Pa to Peter Zim-
merman the son of Peter and Mary Magdalena
Behme Zimmerman.Elizabeth was born 16 Oct.
1792 in Cumberland Co,Pa died 26 Feb.1860
in Fulton Co,Oh, burried Raker cemetery.
Am seeing where she places into the family
Any Manneschmidt is related to the first one to come in Pa he was naturalized in 1741 there.Spellings are many. Some who went to VA
became Smith for instance.
Elizabeth and Peter had Jacob Zimmerman who married Melissa "Jane"Mattocks(Mattox)in Wayne Co,Oh on 3 Feb.1842.Their son Jacob "Riley"Zimmerman went to Dekalb Co,In and there married Pheobe Ellen Koontz.
Now I suspect that he went to Dekalb Co,In
due to other relatives being there as they were. Riley as he was called married Koontz there Nov.20,1880.My immeadiante family has been there for years.
