Hi, Kristy,
Thanks for the contact. The Monds surname is not very common in the USA. I know that there are lines in Canada. My line comes through Harnett County, NC, USA, and I think that it is Scottish or Scot-Irish in origin. I am a little over fifty years old myself. I am not doing a lot with genealogy right now because I have gone back to school here in Bozeman, MT, in hopes of getting a degree in physics and changing my career.
