Percy Grayham Monds died on 16 Aug 1977 in Hertford. Do you know any more about John Jefferson? Percy, like me, my father and grandfather, rode motorcycles when young.

Nathan Roscoe Hendricks remembers Percy, but not very well. He lives in Ohio now. My father William Seth Hendricks Jr and his mother Lucille Gladys Monds were both born in Elizabeth City, NC. But my grandfather William Seth Hendricks Sr. was born in Norfolk. His family was moving back for forth between the Perquimans and Norfolk areas due to the ravages of the depression.

My grandfather worked for Ideal Hosiery Company on Main Street in Elizabeth City prior to moving to Buckroe Beach, VA. and later to Richmond to work for Du Pont. Grandmother talked about all her brothers and sisters in North Carolina, but I don't remember any of them except by name.
