Moncrief Family Genealogy Forum

Thank you. I appreciate the tree. Considering there were so many Moncrief's in Fraserville in the mid 19th century I expected to hear from one of the descendants.Do you have any 19th century portraits of Moncriefs from Fraserville Ont. Canada? I am most interested in old photos of these pioneer families of this area.
We have documentation that our Elizabeth Moncrief was married to Thomas Madill not Armstrong as the tree states. There may have been another Elizabeth Moncrief married to an Armstrong but we have baptismal certificates from the Cavan Anglican church and a written history of the family by Maude Anderson. (who was my gt grandmother's neice) In her written history of the family she writes the death of my gt gt grandmother, --------- Moncrief, married to Thomas Madill, was due to childbirth. Guess your side also married with the Anderson's. I have some old maps with the Anderson, Moncrief and Madill farms on them from the mid 1860's.I can share old photos if you are interested-would appreciate seeing any old photographs you may have.Thank you.
