Looking to find anyone with a connection to this family. They had a farm in Peterborough/Fraserville area South Monaghan, CANADA in 1840's. The farm's owner was a JOHN MONCRIEF b. @1813 in Monaghan Ireland. We are looking to fill in details. Do you know anything about this MONCRIEF family?( Including old family photos?)Also, can you share any substanciating data about the family's origin?
Our ancestor was John's sister who lived in County Cavan Ireland, married Thomas Madill of Drumm, (Corrigary Crossroads) Monaghan, Ireland had two children Joseph 1830 and Margaret b.1835 and immigrated to Cavan/South Monaghan ONTARIO CANADA. We do not know her name yet, could be Elizabeth or Mary Ann Moncrief.
