My great great great grandmother was Catherine Moncrieffe. She married Edward BURKE and had my great great grandfather, Edward Burke, around 1845. Catherine's husband, Edward, worked for the Royal Canal Company. They were living in Kilnacarrow, in southern County Longford, during the time of Griffith's Valuation. If anyone is researching either of these surnames in Longford, I'd like to hear from you.
