Thank you for this information. I have found records at St Joseph, KS for Flavien or Fabien Manna/Monaud born 1842,whose daughter Mathilde married Moises Menard. Flavien's wife was Matilda Odelle Landry b. 1847 but no more is known of them. It had been speculated that the name was really Menard and was misspelled but no one knows. There was also records there of an Aldred or Alfred Monast and F.X. Manna at St. Joseph, KS but we don't know the relationship. There are two F.X. Manna or Mana buried at the Catholic Cemetery at Clyde, KS. I believe Flavien came from St Anne, IL after he left Quebec as he was found in the 1870 census there.
