How much research have you done so far on your Moman lineage?

Have you been able to trace your roots back to Kentucky and/or North Carolina? Nearly everyone has ancestors who lived in NC at one period of time.

Have you been able to obtain info from your dad on what knowledge he has of his family?

There evidently are not many Moman families in the United States; one book has said it is of Dutch heritage.

My husband, who is a Major in the Indiana National Guard, worked for awhile with a fellow officer who was originally from North Carolina, a very nice gentleman; he and his wife home schooled their children. His first name was Frank. I wanted to get in touch with him, but he and his family left the area before I was able to talk to him.
