Hello Bill, I am one of many descendants of Thomas Farley and Jane Molyneux. It is my understanding that often a member of the English nobility's last name and title are interchangeable. Sir Richard Molyneux, for instance, can also be listed as Sir Richard Sephton or Sir Richard Molyneux, Lord Sephton. It seems to have been pretty common. Hope this helps. Charles W.
