I have an ancestor who appears to have come from Quebec to New Orleans. I found in a marriage record that Madgelaine Molinot (Moulineau) was born Feb. 25, 1751, in New Orleans and baptised in the St. Louis Cathedral, although her marriage certificate claims she was born in Quebec.
