Hi, I had access to Ancestry.com but the thing I did not like about it is not everything posted is correct. I know people try but like myself, I posted some information that was wrong. At least I was able to go back and correct it but had I have not known, it would have not helped anyone else in their search.I am thinking that the Archives Newspapers is a great source of help along with Familysearch.org, which is a free search. There are a lot of people who can't afford Ancestry, that is why I no longer have it.I believe you can get a free 7 day subscription to try before you have to actually buy it and that way you can check a bit of the information you get with another site to verify it, that could help in your decision. There are other sites that can be obtained at a minimal cost, just not sure which ones they are or how good they are. You don't mind paying if you can count on what you acquire will actually help or if they just lead you to other sites that they want you to pay for. I do love this site and if you post an inquiry, there are so many willing to try to help you. As I think I had said, I am just starting the Moll search. After a little over two years and help on this site, I learned of my GG grandmother's family on my dad's side. What a wonderful find thanks to those who worked with me.Like you, we are all in this together trying to help one another and I love it. Thanks for your information and it might help someone else. Yes a lot of my Molls did make it to America and landed in Illinois, and So. Calif., with lots (I think) in Germany still.Good luck in your search. Claudia
