Hello Dorothy - Thank you for your message. My Family Tree Maker tells me that Charlotte Molesworth was my 2nd cousin three times removed, but I can never comprehend fully that kind of relationship. However, Charlotte was the daughter of Thomas Molesworth b.01/05/1787 in Whaplode, Lincolnshire, and Charlotte Casswell. Thomas was the son of Thomas Molesworth b.29/01/1757 in Great Easton, Leicestershire, and Ann Guy. This Thomas was the son of John Molesworth b.1718 and Elizabeth Baker. John died in Great Easton in 1801 and was my G.G.G.G.Grandfather. I descend from his son Daniel b.07/09/1766. I do not have any further information on Charlotte Casswell, but the name of Casswell was used as a middle name in three subsequent generations of Molesworth, and the evidence of this can be seen at Ketton, Rutland cemetery. In Ketton you will also find the Molesworth bungalows, a legacy left to the people of the village by the last member of that line, Mary Emma Molesworth who died a spinster in 1964.
During the 1940/50's my dentist was Owen B.Easom,of Spalding Lincolnshire, was he a relative ?
