The following was published in the Orange Peelings newsletter by the Orange County Indiana Genealogical Society.

PROBATE RECORD Orange County,Indiana

At a Circuit court begun and held in the town of Paoli on Mon. the 23rd day of February,1817 for the Probate of Wills, Letters, Testamentary and Administration etc.

Present: Thomas Vandeveer John Pinnick Associate Judges

On motion ordered that James PARSLEY, an infant son of SAmuel PARSLEY deceased be bound to Jacob MOLDER for the term of six years and one month from the date hereof said Molder obligating himself to learn said James the arts of making spinning wheels and to give James twelve months schooling, and at all times to keep James in good wholesome diet and lodging during his apprenticeship and in all other cases to deal with him as apprentices ought to be delt by.
