C Wayne Mohr, 71, a commerical pilot, flight instructor and airport opertor, formerly of Wauseon and Swanton, died yesterday in St. Bernard Medical Hospital, Jonesboro, Ark. Mr Mohr owned and operated ROC Aviation and managed the Fulton Co. Airport near Wauseon for more than 17 yrs. He retired and moved to Arkansas last year. A commerical pilot and instructor of aviation, he also was a charter pilot for many years and made his home in an apartment at the Fulton Co. Airport. Earlier he operated Mohr's Sohio station for 30 yrs. in Swanton and served as a village councilman. He was a past master of the Swanton Masonic Lodge, a member of the Maree Charpter, Order of Easter Star; Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo; Zenobia Shrine and Trinity United Methodist Church of Swanton. Professional organizations included the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the QB;s or Quiet Birdmen. He also was an accident prevention counselor for the FAA. Surviving are his wife, Alma; stepsons, Jimmy and Virgil Smith; stedaugther Mrs. Mary Gray brother, Lowell; sisters, Mrs. Chrystene George, Mrs. Janet Scott and Mrs. Charlene George and eight step-grandchildren The body will be in the Biehl Malone Mortuary Swanton after 7pm tomorrow followed by Masonic services at 8pm The family request that any contribution be to the Trinity United Methodist Church of Swanton.
