I do not have any information that ties your Johann Hinrich Mohr to Adolph Mohr. The birthplace of Holstenniendorf is in northern Germany. Adolph was definately in Mauchenheim, Pfalz which is south. The date of Hinrich's birth is in the correct timeframe but not much to go by. I have been trying to contact someone in Germany doing Mohr family research and if I discover something I will post it in this forum.

In a different direction, I have been trying to encourage other Mohr surname male family members to get a Y-DNA test done to help in sorting out different Mohr families. I had a test done by FamilyTreeDNA and have been identified as Y-Haplogroup I1b1b. I want to know if other Mohr family males have the same identification.
