In my studies, I have run down 2 or 3 Moore lines and joined them. But Mohr is usually just a bad spelling. Anyway, these Adam (and Casper) Mohrs bug me.
In 1860 an Adam Mohr, b 1828, Ger. with Catherine.I know where they went.
But also in 1860, an Adam Mohr is in Brown Co, Ind, b 1824, Ger. It says age 36, wife, Elizabeth (25?)Ger. and 7 kids in home. William More Sr., 60, Germany, in home. After seeing records, I know the names of the kids, actually there were nine. But who is this Adam? And where did he go? I find no records on his family later on.
Is this the one who went to Illinois?
