My records show the parents of William Augustus Modlin as Jacob Modlin and
Elizabeth Kennedy. I have the name of
his wife as Lucretia (Howes)Thornton.
Was Howes her maiden name? I have
birthdates and spouse names for seven children: Charles, William T, Nellie May, Gertrude, Otis Perry, Earl Bert,
Louis Rosea.
William A's grandparents were George and
Sarah (Peele) Modlin and his ancestry can
be traced for several additional
generations
