Per Julius Allen's book on the delayed birth records of Wise Co., TX, pg 320, Georgia Ann Mode and James William Roling were the parents of John Oliver Roling. According to the book, Georgia Ann Mode was listed as being born in North Carolina, James William Roling was listed as being born in Texas, and their son John Oliver Roling was born 10-10-1897 at Alvord, Wise Co., TX. The certificate number is 7863.

Margaret Ann Peeler's husband was named John Oliver Mode. Their son James Weaver Mode had a delayed birth certificate that is listed in this book on pg 237. The parents of James Weaver Mode were listed as Margaret Ann Peller, born in NC, and John Oliver Mode, also born in NC. James Weaver Mode was born 6-30-1882 at Alvord, Wise Co., TX. His delayed birth certificate is 8947.
