Mobley, Sarah Ann Anderson - Sarah Ann Anderson Mobley - Mrs E.B. Mobley died at her home in Bedford, Iowa, March 16, 1916. The remains were sent to Hopkins [Missouri] Friday and the funeral services were held at the Baptist church Saturday morning, conducted by Rev D.W. Griffith. Interment was made in the Hopkins cemetery.
Miss Sarah A. Anderson was born near Heartsville, Ind., November 5, 1842. She was united in marriage to James Mobley in 1861. To this union one daughter was born, Mrs Elizabeth A. Anderson of Tryon, Okla. Mr Mobley died during the civil war near Vicksburg, La April 25, 1864, she was united in marriage to C.B. Mobley. To this union were born six sons and two daughters. Two sons died when young. Those surviving are William H. Mobley of Tryon, Okla, John W. Mobley and Isaac Mobley of Hopkins, Mo., David E. Mobley of Parnell, Mo., Mrs John Knowles of Hopkins and Mrs Will Mahan of Bedford.
Mrs Mobley was converted when a young girl and united with the Baptist church, of which she was a worthy member. For many years she was unable to attend religious services, having been sick for twenty-three years. Her last severe illness was of less than a week's duration.

This obit is incorrect that the second husband was C.B. Mobley - it was Elijah B. Mobley. James and Elijah B. Mobley were sons of Jesse and Ellen Mobley. I am looking for information on their older brother, John L. Mobley who married Harriet Stutsman.

I. E. Mobley Dies At Allerton, Iowa
I. E. Mobley, a former resident of Bedford, died at his home in Allerton, Iowa, Friday, November 25.
The funeral services were held at the Methodist Church there the following Monday afternoon.Burial was in the Allerton cemetery.Attending the services from Bedford were Mr. and Mrs. Will Mahan [Lettie Mobley], Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mahan, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gaddis [Phoebe Fay Mahan] and Duane, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wilson [Lola Mae Mahan], Mr. and Mrs. Perry Carmichael [Lillian Beatrice Mahan].
Isaac E. Mobley, son of Elijah and Sarah [Ann Anderson] Mobley, was born near Hartsville, Ind., February 3, 1871, being aged 78 years, 9 months, 21 days at the time of his death.
He was married to Olive E. [lizabeth] Boatman, Nov. 29, 1891.To them were born three children, Lenna, who died in infancy; Richard of Kansas City; Velma Bettis of Allerton.Mrs. Mobley died August 30, 1948.
Surviving with the two children are two sisters:Mrs. Letty Mahan of Bedford and Mrs. Maude Noles of Hopkins; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
