Some history behind all this :

Yes , Walter Scofield ( or Schofield) in the Ship Derby is the same one that married Mary Mathilda Mobley. Mary Mathilda was Samuel and Eleonorīs daughter

Walter was a Confederate soldier and among 5.000 people from the South he came to Brazil.

The Scofields and the Mobley settled at Bahia. And some of Walterīs childern moved later on to Minas Gerais ( another state) .

Walter and Mary have a lot of children and after 140 years the Mobleys/Scofield in Brazil , must be over 1.000 people.
