I've only recently discovered I have Moberlys in my tree...
I am aware now that Edward Moberly and his family made the migration from Maryland to Bedford County, VA, before moving on south to SC. Of course, Bedford was originally a part of Lunenburg County, so I also know that they also appear in some early Lunenburg County records.
What I'd like to know, though, is did they make the trip from Ann Arundel Co., MD, to Lunenburg/Bedford Co., VA, in one big single step, or did they make some intermediate stops along the way (i.e., long enough to have left any records)? Has anyone found the family anywhere between Ann Arundel Co., MD and Lunenburg/Bedford Co., VA?
