I do not know the area in Ireland. I know that Mary reported on the 1900 Census, that she had been in the U.S. for 30 years. I also have the 1892 marriage license between Mary's daughter, Margaret, and James McAdams. At that time the Moan family listed their residence as "Butler Street Exn, Pittsburgh." In the 1892 Pittsburgh City Directory there is a listing for "Moan, Mary wid Ptk Reservoir av n Butler," so I believe that my Mary was married to Patrick Moan. This is all the information I have on the family, but would be interested in learning more.
