looking for Marinda Melvin who died very young probably in Wright County. Webster county not formed at the time of her death.

My James melvin m Sarah Palmer in NC. They had 4 daughters,Cornelia, Elizabeth or Betsey, Mary Jane (my ggrandmother) and Marinda. In the 1860 census of Webster Co MO. Marinda was 7 years old and born in NC. This is the only record I have of her. In 1870 the family were in Laclede Co MO. with no Marinda. I would appreciate any help with finding this little girls grave. This is her mother's obit.

Mrs Sally Melvin

Buried December 14 1896

Sally Palmer was born in Alamance county North Carolina on March 30 1818. Was married to James Melvin in 1839 or thereabouts, came to Missouri with her husband and four girls in an ox wagon driven with one line. Was three months on the road, camping over Sundays. The death of her youngest girl many years ago so prayed upon her mind that she was never entirely herself again. She was a member of the Methodist church.
