The annual meeting of Spillman Cemetery Inc will be held Saturday, June 4, 2005, at Rock Chapel Church. located about 8 miles north of Norwood, on Hwy E. we will have a pot-luck dinner at noon, bring covered dish and table servce. Spillman is one of the earliest burial grounds in Wright County, some of the surnames of persons buried there : Allen/Butcher/Bradshaw/Cottengim/Conley/Conrow/
Davis/Eden/Forrest/Gregory/Gideon/Hughes/Hurt/Housley/
Grosvener/Jarrett/Kidd/Lewis/Moore/Mayberry/Owens/Plank/
Purtle/Ridens/Ramsey/Roadlander/Streets/Scarborough/
Spillman/Smith/Turner/Tudors/Ussery/Welch. There are many
graves marked only with field stones and many with no marker at all.If you have family buried here, we would like for you to attend the meeting. wee would appreciate any info on persons who are buried in the unmarked graves.
