Crain family info on Dennis D., Alfred Monks, William Dennis and families

Seeking information on my mother's paternal line -- the Crains -- in southern Missouri/Illinois. My line goes like this: the Rev. Dennis Darta Crain > the Rev. Alfred Monks Crain > William Dennis Crain > Mason Edwin Crain (my mother's late father). Dennis D. was b abt 1833 in Ill. and lived in Missouri and Arkansas before homesteading in Ozark Co., Mo., in the 1870s. He was a Baptist preacher, as was his son, Alfred Monks (b abt 1873 and d in 1949 in Jefferson City). Alfred reportedly led congregations in Perry, Leadwood and Burney (possibly Burney Ford in Wright Co.?) before retiring at the last church in 1947. (Yes, I believe they were related to those infamous Crains in "Bloody Williamson" County, Ill., but that is another story!) Eager for any information and to share what I have!
