Hi! I'm looking for relatives and information about the John Curry family that moved to Oxford, Gentry/Worth County, Missouri in the 1850's from Andrew, Jackson Co., Iowa. They lived near the Mathew Curry family which may have been his brother or at least a relative.

John Curry born abt. 1821 in Kentucky

Wife: Louisiana (Louisa, Lucy) Curry born abt. 1836 in Ohio to Nathan & Hannah (Ames) Jordan. Siblings: Mary, Virginia, Isacc, James, Nathaniel, Stephen

Children of John & Lucy: William b.1852 IA, Anna b.?, Margaritta b.1857 IA, Nathaniel b.1859 MO, and John b.1861 MO. The girls died young.
About 1865 I know the 3 boys lived with seperate families - Why?

Nathaniel Mathew Curry is my great grandfather and we have no family record of these events or know anything further about his father John and family.

Patty -
