CASNER FAMILY - WORTH COUNTY - 1841
Posted by: Liz Freeman Date: October 01, 2000 at 09:22:54
  of 155

In the book "History of Worth & Gentry Counties, MO" pages 522-533 under Early Settlers it shows "in 1841 Henry CASNER located on a farm three miles east of Denver on the farm now occupied by Samuel Stewart."

Would like to communicate with anyone who can shed some light on the CASNER family while they were in Worth County. Henry later dies in Marion Co., IA in 1847.

Family tradition says they were ran out of Worth County "for gambling and selling whiskey on Sunday."
