Would any one have an idea who would be the records keeper for box school cementary. There is usally a record of who owned plots, and, at times a record of who was buried in these plots. In my research I have found that some counties have taken control of these records and have them available for the public. In some cases a local group has taken control of these records and made them available to the public for a small fee that covers the groups expenses. I would hope that Webster county has done one or the other of these things. I have been working on the Joseph Martin family who settled in Webster county, Mo in the late 1860's. I know from my research where their farm was located east of Diggins Mo. It is very near to box school cementary. I know that Joseph died around 1874-75 and that his Wife died in St. Louis in 1913 and that her remains were shipped to Diggins Mo. for burial. I am planning a trip to Mo. in the next year. Hopefully I will be able locate the place where they are buried.
