Thanks for your help. I have Sam Hale's obit. There are his children and gr-children mentioned, but I cannot find any of them. I really need to know how they are related to my Hale family. My name was Hale when I was born in 1953. My name was changed when my mother remarried. In 1935, there was a Rose-Simmerman family reunion mentioned in the Springfield, MO newspaper. My father,his parents, and brother and sisters were mentioned as among those attending the reunion.Their name was Hale, also. I need to find out how Sam Hale is related to my father. Sam Hale and Jack Hale were attending the same family reunion--I so I think that this means that they were related--I would like to find out for sure. Thanks for your help. brian
