Looking for burial information on Matthew Long (farmer/retired insurance agent)his wife was Hannah M. (Tuttle). She is buried in NJ. They farmed N. of Marshfield in the 1880's. [Matthew was son of William Long Jr., an early settler & mayor of Columbus, Ohio.] Later, the Matthew Long family lived in Des Moines, Iowa before moving to MO. Also need, burial info. for their son, William L. Long, a cashier at Merchants' & Farmers' Bank of Marshfield (in about 1888), his wife and children, Elizabeth C. and Matthew P. Long. Another son of the elder, Matthew, was Jacob T. Long who married Olive Simpson in Iowa.[Parents of Olive S. were James and Olive (Clark) Simpson born in NY & Mass. but lived in Des Moines per 1880-1900 censuses] Jacob T. and Olive S. Long had a daughter, Nina, who was born August 1886 in Missouri. Their son, Edward, was born in Iowa Sept. 1877 and is my grandfather; he's buried in Seattle. Finally, do not have any knowledge of the James Simpson "line"; Olive ("Ollie")Simpson's mother, Olive Clark; or Nina Long's burial (or marriage) info.
