Thomas and Zack GALLION.
My son's gr grandmother, Nancy E. (Haines)May is supposed to have married a Thomas GALLION about 1900.They had a daughter Edith.in 1902 born Arkansas(prob Independance Co.) Thomas died of Pneumonia sometime later and then she married his brother Zack (Zachary?)GALLION, according to what a grandaughter remembers hearing. There is a Zack Gallion who died in Independance Co. Arkansas 9-21-1919, and Nancy lived there many years.
I have been unable to find any Marriage records for Nancy. She is on the 1870 Census for Marshfield, Webster Co. Missouri, with her mother,a Widow, Belinda HAINES and brothers Wm. and Obertie Haines. Nancy age 10. The only GALLION men named Thomas and Zack that are brothers were sons of Stephen A. GALLION in Marshfield. None of their wives were named Nancy that I could find.
I also found an entry on the LDS Familysearch site IGI that has a Belinda Haynes married to a Stephen Gallian Oct. 4 1873 Webster, Missouri.
I hope some one out there can shine some light on this and help me out of this maze.
