The Wayne county courthouse burned in 1854. The records in the new courthouse were stolen in 1866 and in 1892 the courthouse burned again. Few county records prior to 1893 survived. However, Hanna Catherine Westbrook married George W. Holt 27 May 1888 in Butler County MO. George W. Holt was born 27 Jan 1867 and died 25 Nov 1916 (See MO Death Index Cert. #36907) He is buried at Hillis Cemetery, Butler MO. They would have 2 children that survived, Drury G. Holt and Goldie Holt. Goldie married George Brown 24 Dec 1919 Butler MO. Goldie was born 27 Jun 1901 and died 27 Dec 1920 Butler MO. She is buried in Mole Hill Cemetery. (See MO Death Index Cert. #36222) Drury G. Holt married Edna Catherine Martin 28 Jul 1923. Drury was born 4 Sep 1893 MO and died Dec 1966 Ypsilanti, Washtenaw MI. Both Drury and his wife Edna are buried in Highland Park Cemetery in Washtenaw County MI. You can visit their graves at findagrave. In 1930 Drury and Edna and their children were living in MI. In the household was his mother Hanna. Hanna Holt's death record on the MO Death Index states she died July 1950. There is no certificate because she died out of state (MI I assume) and one must write to that state to obtain a copy. I could find no marriage information for Hanna's sisters. I am not related to the Westbrooks but my maternal ancestors did come from Wayne County (cannot find anything much on them either).
