This may be just another wild goose chase but at this stage, you are probably grasping a handful of straws every now and then. I know I would be.
Artie/Arty is usually a shortened name , or nickname, for Arthur when male and Artimissa if female. There is adeath certificate for a man named Henry L (Lewis) Jackson on the Missouri SOS site. He died in Wayne County, MO on 13 February 1941. His father's name is Ham Jackson and his mother's Name is Artimiss Shrout. Henry is buried in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
You may want to look into this if you have not already done so.
