Thanks Leanna, all information appreciated. My guess of cause of their deaths is the same as yours.

I am almost positive that the parents and oldest sons died in between 1850-1860. Anything is possible and they could have gone to war but have found no records. I have search and another Blades cousin has searched and only the two youngest sons (our respective ancesters (15 and 12 years old) were left living with another family in 1960.
