Can anyone more fully identify these May children living with John and Eliza Virgin in October 1850?

Who were their parents?

The household was in District 101, Wayne County, Missouri:

Dwelling 631

VIRGIN John B. 50 M Laborer POB: Unknown
VIRGIN Eliza 40 F POB: Unknown
VIRGIN John 24 M Laborer MO
VIRGIN Nancy 19 F MO
VIRGIN Sarah 15 F MO
VIRGIN Samuel 13 M MO
VIRGIN Elizabeth 8 F MO
VIRGIN Sophia 5 F MO
MAY McDonald 12 M MO
MAY Missouri A. 10 F MO
MAY America D. 8 F MO
MAY William J. 5 M MO

I'm trying to determine if, or how, John B. Virgin was connected to members of the Virgin family living that year in neighboring Cape Girardeau County. The Cape Girardeau County Virgins included Hugh Anderson Virgin, who was married to Mary (May) Virgin, reportedly a daughter of John Anderson May and Gyan (Morgan) May.

Neither John Virgin or his family, nor the May children, appear to have been living in 1860 in Wayne County or in Bollinger County, formed in part from Wayne County in 1851.
