I found the death cerficate on Charles Wesley Lunyou in the Wayne CO. Courthouse. It listed Fed Lunyou as his father and Polly Onsby (Ownbey) as his mother.

I believe this couple is on the 1860 census of Wayne CO. MO. under John Luniviv and Sarah Luniviv. This couple has a son Charles W. that fits Charles Wesley Lunyou's age.

Wesley Ownbey and wife Nancy Ogle have listed a Sarah as their daughter on 1850 census of Wayne Co. Sarah is gone by 1860. This Luniviv family is living very near the Ownbey's on Bounds Creek.

So here is my thought. Sarah ("Polly", a nickname i'm sure) was a daughter of Wesley and Nancy (Ogle) Ownbey. She married John ("Fed", another nickname I'm sure) Lunyou. These were the parents of Charles Wesley Ownbey.

It's possible that a William Andrew Jackson Lunyou was Charles Wesley's half brother? Somebody had him listed as son of Fed Lunyou and a Lisa Carlene?

This is my thought on all of it. Charles Wesley Lunyou and Polly Lunyou are buried in unmarked graves in the New Prospect Cememtery, Silva, MO.
