I have a John W. Hopkins in my family line but his wife isn't the same as you have listed.

My John W. Hopkins (b. abt. 1778 in PA; d. abt. 1865 in Crawford Co., MO) married Mary Simms and had the following children:
William H.
Mary
Eliza
Thomas W.
Walter S.
John R.
Dorcas Simms

Is this the family you are investigating?
