Sophia Genevieve Govero (b. 06 Nov 1851 Washington CO., Missouri, USA - d. 06 Jun 1935 in Cadet, Washington CO., Missouri, USA) married Martheus Matthew Bouchard (b. 09 Mar 1840 Washington CO., Missouri, USA - d. 07 Apr 1920 Cadet, Washington CO., Missouri, USA) on 10 Sep 1867 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Washington CO., Missouri, USA.
Her sister, Elizabeth Mary Govero (b. 26 May 1845 in I think DeSoto, Jefferson CO., Missouri, USA - d. 19 Feb 1932 St. Louis, Missouri, USA) married Joseph B. Hanson ( b. 25 Mar 1821 Deercreek Township, Pickaway CO., Ohio, USA - d. 08 Feb 1893 Shibboleth, Washington CO., Missouri, USA) on abt 1865 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Washington CO., Missouri, USA.
Both Sophia and Elizabeth were daughters of Joseph Etienne Govero (b. 28 Oct 1820 Washington CO., Missouri, USA - d. after 1880 Washington CO., Missouri, USA) and Marianne Louise Boyer ( b. 10 Sep 1825 Washington CO., Missouri, USA - d. 1861 Washington CO., Missouri, USA). From what I have was that Joseph and Marianne were married 04 Aug 1840 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Washington CO., Missouri, USA.
Both of these 2 daughters ended up being 2 of my great great grandmothers from my Father's family. Interesting note is that Joseph B. Hanson fought for the union in the 7th Kansas Vol. Cavalry, and Matthew Bouchard fought in the 31st Missouri Infantry.
