I am looking for any information on John W. Hopkins of Missouri. ANY information on this family would be greatly appreciated especially pertaining to the time they lived in Washington County, Missouri.

Here is what I've collected so far:
John W. Hopkins was born 1770 - 1780. Birthplace unknown. His wife's name was Rebecca - maiden name unknown. He was in Washington County, Missouri in 1814 perhaps even prior to that date.

From Goodspeed's History of Washington County:
Pg. 483 - John W. Hopkins, in 1814, was appointed a commisioner along with John Perry, Jr., & David Wheeler to view & mark out a road "Beginning at Moses Bates', to run northwesterly, according to the nature of the ground, until it interesects the road leading to the Mineral Fork."

Pg. 467 - T38 R3E Union Township - The first entries were made in this township in 1821 by Reuben Smith, John W. Hopkins & Robt. Brown.

1830 Census - Washington County, Mo.
2 males - 10 to 15 years of age - born 1815 - 1820
1 male - 15 to 20 years of age - born 1810 - 1815
1 male - 20 to 30 years of age - born 1800 - 1810
1 male - 50 to 60 years of age - born 1770 -1780

1 female - 5 to 10 years of age - born 1820 - 1825
1 female - 15 to 20 years of age - born 1810 - 1815
1 female - 50 to 60 years of age - born 1770 - 1780

This was the only Hopkins family in the 1830 census for WAsh. Co.

Washington County Deed Book A:
Commissioned By Governor: John W. Hopkins, Pg. 528
Nicholas Wilson - John W. Hopkins, Pg. 363

John W. Hopkins & wife Rebecca sold their property in 1836 & seem to have disappeared after that as I have so far been unable to find them after that date.
