Myrtle: Please do not go out of your way, your help, however, is always appreciated. The info I have is: Eli Story, is that Eli Story was born in Wilkes County, N. C. In 1850, he was 56 years old and living in Kings Creek, Caldwell County, N. C. It was reported to me by someone that the family moved to Missouri before the 1870 census. I do not know whether that is true or not. I, also, do not know whether his name was William, however, he did have a son, William, who was 6 years old in the 1860 census in North Carolina.
Thanks,
Barbara
