Good Morning James:

I also am indirectly descended from the Longhunter. My great great great great great grandfather was his brother Joseph Wallen. I'm the Director of Development for the Missouri Civil War Museum (www.missouricivilwarmuseum.org) and I'm currently researching descendants of the Longhunter who fought in the Civil War. Thus far I have a grandson named Elisha who fought with the Third Missouri (CSA) and another grandson named Henry who died in Alton Prison. I would love to have any other information that you might have, particularly any pictures.

I can be reached via return e-mail at hubbardjim@hotmail.com.

Jim Hubbard
