I am looking for information on Nora/Lanora Plummer b. 3 Feb 1876 in Schell City, Vernon Co. MO. She was a daughter of Mason J. Plummer and Ollevia/Olivia Kirkland. Nora Plummer married Abram Banta 20 Jun 1895 Schell City, Vernon Co. MO. Abram was a Railroad conductor. Had a daughter Hazel Banta. This family moved to Joplin, Jasper Co. Missouri by 1920. Abram died 21 May 1931 in Joplin, MO. His daughter Hazel married Cecil Connie Ford 2 Sep 1916 in Jasper Co. MO.
Nora (Plummer) Banta died 9 Sep 1933 Joplin, Missouri. Suicide, gunshot to head. Perhpas depressed after the death of her husband??
