I looking for info on Capt Andrew J. Hoke b. in Kentcuky about 1824-25 He married Sarah J. Reynolds she was born 1833 or 34 in Indiana They was married in clark County. Ind on 8-16-1849. they had two sons Leroy and John..Then they moved to Missouri..The Vernon County newpaper files 1883-1893 Shows Capt Hoke a Mexican war veternan died at his home near Arbor Grove in dover Twp.and that he was buried in Creek Cemetary Jan 16-1893..Where is this cemetary?? There is this town tsp??? Does anyone know what happened to his wife Sarah?? Andrew was my ggrandfather...His son John was my grandfather..If you can help e-mail me at cnew@jscomm.net
