Houston Herald November 30, 1905 Lucian Angel Killed Last Sunday's St. Louis papers contained a dispatch from Chehalis, Washington, stating that Lucian Angel had been killed at Centralia, near that place. Lucian was at the station and attempted to board a train while it was in motion and it is supposed that his foot was caught in the frog of the switch and was thrown under the train, both legs being cut off. A number of people were at the station, but none of them knew of the occurance until the unfortunate man's cries were heard. Lucian was the son of James W. Angel, formerly of this county, but who has been in Washington for past few years. The news of his untimely death will be received with sincere regret by his many friends here.
