While the two Lillie's McDonald and Massie are not one in the same as my Lillie's death certificate is online and she did not die in that year and she died unmarried, the spelling of Massie as opposed to Massy really helps me. I could not even locate anyone with those initials on any census. Why I did not think of looking under another spelling is beyond me as that is the first rule of genealogy. So now at least I can look into the correct Massie family and see why HP was her guardian. Thank you a lot. Julie
