Have you found any more connection for your David James Morrow b. 1815 TN?
I am also chasing a slender Morrow track in Taney county. My grandmother Sarah Morrow is in 1850 census Jasper Twp pp 371 dw 442.
S.C. Morrow 55 f SC (Sarah Morrow)
W.D. Morrow 22 m KY (William D. Morrow)
N.D. 16 f KY (Nancy Morrow)
J.G. 14 m KY (George Morrow)

Sarah Morrow is a widow who moved to Taney ca 1845 from Barren KY, where she had lived since 1820 with her husband William Morrow.

Their first two children were b. Warren TN- Jane in 1813 and John in 1815. Other children were James, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Thomas, Arthur and Samuel.

I believe that Sarah Morrow dies in Taney MO ca 1858 and the younger sons all move to Jack/Wise TX.

Would have loved to see the Taney county records burned in 1880. The only other Morrow track is a land entry for James Morrow in 1854 near the old community of Oasis.

There were David Morrows in early Warren TN - maybe a connection.
