I am searching for my great great grandfather who is buried in Gobblers Knob Cemetery in Taney County, MO. Here's the following information:
Howard W. Everett/Averett
b: 24 Oct 1793 Halifax County VA
d: 10 Apr 1877 Taney County MO
married twice: 1. Sarah Ann Waltrip in 1815 she died 1859
2. Saran Sally Abner in 1860
With both marriages he had a total of 15 children using his last name. Howard is listed in the 1860 Census of Clay County Missouri Fishing River TWP as a farmer/preacher. Can't seem to find him in any census of Taney County, however he lived in both counties. His son Henry Clay Everett is buried in Ragsdale/Wood/Everett Cemetery and was living in Oliver Taney County MO in the 1880 Fed Census. He died in 1888.
Is there another list of grave markers for Gobblers Knob Cemetery other that the one listed by the White River Valley Historical Society?
You can email me personally if you have any information.
