I am looking for information on Thomas ANDERSON, b. 1846, in Tennessee. In the 1860 census, Thomas is living alone in Forsyth, Taney Co., Missouri and is listed as a merchant. In the 1870 census, Thomas is still living in Taney Co. but has a wife, Nancy R., b. about 1846. Also with them are two children, Sarah E., 3, and James W., under 1. By 1900, Thomas is living in Lawrence Co., Green Township, Missouri with wife, Viola, and several more children. Did Thomas marry Nancy and Viola in Taney Co.? What were Nancy's and Viola's maiden names? Is Nancy buried in Taney Co.? Thomas and Viola ANDERSON are buried in the Round Grove Cemetery in Lawrence Co., Green Township, Missouri. Sarah E., the oldest child of Thomas and Nancy, married my g-uncle, Lewis Woodson HUNT in 1884 in Dade Co., Missouri.
